I'm using TV-out through a scan converter. The converter states that it only supports 16.7million color output to both the TV and Monitor.
When I watch anything which is fairly dark (black, dark red, dark blue), there is severe banding on the TV, but not the monitor. Even when I set the color on the monitor to 16bit.
Is there some sort of post prossesing filter which I can use to fix this? I'd assume that if 16bit is the problem then the banding would show up on the monitor aswell.
When the time comes i'll get a good quality TV-out card, but for now all I have is the scan converter (which I know people don't have a problem with).
thanks
