View Full Version : CCE 2.5 vdr and avs problem

Hallo,

I have a problem with CCE 2.5 and XP. After opening a virtualdub-frameserver .vdr-file or an .avs file, cce 2.5 quits itself without any message. Normal .avi and vfapi-files are working without problems. Last Week it worked without problem.
Does anybody know a solution? (Reinstalling XP will solve it, but I don’t want to do it!)

Thanks in advance.

Did you add the line Resampleaudio(44100) in your avs-script?

i don't have Xp, so don't know if you can do this under it.

But in WIN2K, i had the same problem, and all i did was made a shortcut to CCE 2.5, right click the shortcut and goto properties. run it on the WINNT 4.0 layer under the Compatability tab.

if the option is there, it should work, if it isn't, then i'm sorry i wasted your time

Have you tried a rollback to a snapshot from last week? You can revert this if it does not help. However, going back to the system setup from a few days before has already saved my XP-setup more than once :-)

Bye,

I am so stupid, I forgot that xp feature!

No, nothing. The Problem still exists, it quits like before.

It seems I must install it agan (oh god, again) :-(
(In contrast of that, on my main computer it works since october
without any problems ...)

I never used audio with cce and vdr/avs. The program quits if I'm
adding the file.

!!!! I have the solution !!!!

!!!! Editing the .ecl-file by hand solves the problem !!!!!
