I have mentioned this problem before without a posted reply. I use an avisynth file wrapped in VFAPI to insert into CCE. Before I load into CCE, I check both the avs file and the VFAPI file in Windows Media Player (WMP) to see that they work. After loading into CCE (2.62)I check the video in the preview and very often I see a green screen, but not all the time! If I go back and check the avs file in WMP, it usually plays OK, same for the VFAPI file, but at other times the VFAPI file is also just green-screen. Shutting down CCE and restarting sometimes corrects the problem (both in WMP and CCE). At other times I need to shut down Windows (Win98) and restart to get the video back. When it comes back, it encodes fine in CCE, indicating that the avisynth script is OK.
This is driving me crazy as I have no explanation why I intermittently lose the video. Can anyone help?
