DivX file deleted after encoding is finished

Allright, How is delete'ing my DivX files, please stop, it's very annoying :devil: ,,
No, seriously.. after i have encoded a a file doesn't mater what settings or program i use, just before it's done encoding the avi file is ~700mb, but after the program is done, the avi file is only 10kb?. i can't figure out what it could be.:confused:. i have tried reinstalled the codec divx5, and i have updated all my soft, but still, has anyone else had this problem, or have any ideas what's wrong?

Maybe you're only encoding a first pass? This results in a small "avi" file you can't play. You have to encode the second pass after that.

Other from that, I have no idea why this could happen.

No, it doesn't mather if i encode 1-pass or 2-pass, if i encode with 2-pass, i get an error after the first pass is compleat saying invalid data format, or something like that :(,,,
