DVD2SVCD AVI2SVCD aido *WAY* off

I gave the AVI2SVCD portion of DVD2SVCD a shot last night, hoping to make divx2svcd conversions a bit more painless... it looks alright, but the sound is INCREDIBLY far off. Does anyone have any ideas what I could do to try to sync the audio up better? The audio is MP3 in the AVI, don't know if its VBR or not.

You can try stripping the audio track from the avi with Virtual Dub and converting it to mp2 with toolame manually. Rename the file appropriately then use crash recovery at I think the muxing stage.

When I used avi2svcd on a couple of my nandub div-x, it failed to make an audio file at all. I think it was choking on the Lame vbr files I was using.
Anyway, the same approach may fix your sync problem:)
