Ripping Chapters with Internal Routines

Just a queary regards (internal routines) which is needed to rip selected chapters.

If i have a audio dvd and want to rip half of the chapters as to create a svcd that ends at the end of a song, instead of where ever it wants, i select the first half of them and select (internal routines)and away it goes.

The thing i don't understand it that it will rip the appropiate Vob's for the extraction of chapters, and everthing works perfect on the first cd , but when i restart for the second cd and select the rest of the chapters and start dvd2svcd it gets just about to the end of the Vobs needed and comes with a error.

It works fine if i rip all the vob's to the h\d , but i can't work out why this is needed as you have an option to select which chapters you wish to rip.

I was wondering if it refers back to a vob that is not ripped off when doing the second cd or my machine has a problem.

that is correct. You need to re-rip the chapters for the 2nd cd.

I was wondering if it is the case that you have to rip every vob file to the h/d first , before you can de-select the first half of the chapters , maybe it could default to do it all the time, and once it is done , then it should start the backup for the second cd from there.

The reason i have this theary is that i was under the impression that it was better to rip directly from dvd as to do it from the h/d.

Any sugestion would be greatly appreciated.
