OK, get ready for another newbastic question:
I got a couple of movies off of my friend that are encoded @ 720 x 416, 24 Bits, 96600 Frames, 29.970 Frames/Sec, 220 KB/Sec, DIVXMPG4 V3. The sampling rate of the sound is @ 48kHz.
My problem is that my computer is too damn slow to be able to play it back properly (choppy frames and undersampled sound). So now I would like to downmix it and convert it to about 5xx X 3xx resolution with a 44.1kHz (damn soundblaster AWE 64) sampling rate.
The big question is: what programs to use and what are the steps involved?
As u can recall, I can't really play around with avi editting, since it would take days to test on my machine. Therefore I really need some expert+clear advices.
