When I capture with virtualdub the frame rate slowly increases from 29.97 to 30.3 - 30.8. I also drop about 300 to 600 frames out of about 160000 for a 90 minute movie. I have an athlon 1800XP, winME,RAID-0 configured Harddrives ATA133, PCTV PRO, capturing from DirecTV. If I use AVI_IO I do not Drop any frames. Why is the frame rate changing and is this why I am dropping frames?
