I have encoded 3 DVD's to SVCD keeping to the default settings of DVD to SVCD. I am very happy with the results but when I play back on my home DVD player I get a judder or slight freeze frame every so often-perhaps every 10 minutes or so, lasting about half a second. I don't get this problem with SVCD's encoded by other people. It's not a big problem and may go unnoticed to most but I would still like to know why this happens. Can anyone help me out?

Using:-
DVD to SVCD 1.07 build 1
Cinecraft Encoder 2.50
Win XP
Athlon 1200/512 mb ram
40 gig HD 7200
All DVD'S have been PAL 16:9
Have tried 2 types of good quality cdr's-getting same probs.

Thanks
:)

Please, you have? I don't think nearly enough info is here.
Have you actually read the Mandatory read? There is plenty of info in that post that you have not provided and nobody can to help you until you do.

Where are your log files?
What did you burn with?
What were your bitrate settings?
What DVD player?
Have you played SVCD's successfully before on this player?

Not enough info plain and simple.
I am really tempted to close this thread, but I will cut you some slack this time.
