TMPGenc no video output

I've used old versions of Tmpgenc to convert/encode in the past, and when its encoding Tmpgenc outputs the video.I've just upgraded to the latest DVD2SVCD and when its encoding i just have a black screen within Tmpgenc is this correct??? P.s i've seached the Q&A

You must be using 2 pass VRB and during the first pass there is no preview. Just wait for the second pass...

Thanks for that Zoltan, i was worried i had done something wrong:) i'm just used to seeing the preview all the time..
