Best settings for making 720(704)x576(480) xsvcd-s

Hello!

For making svcd-s the default setting are OK for me.

I've search the forum for xsvcd and I've read a lot of post but I'm still not sure what are the best bitrate settings on the bitrate tab in dvd2svcd.

Can anyone tell me what should I set on the bitrate tab?

It really depends on what your player will handle... maybe you should try some one chapter tests. You could have d2s NOT create the image this will give you a bbmpeg .mpg. You can do several encodes with different settings and then burn them all to one CD with Nero SVCD setting. (Make sure to uncheck Create standard compliant CD) I think this will get you started... of course there are many things you can do to XSVCD. Good luck! :)
