Hi.

I recently captured a video with my TV-card, and it is in MPEG-2 format, with audio in MPEG Layer II (.mp2).

I want to reencode it to Divx. But the real problem is the audio track. How can I demux (extract) it from the video so that I can recompress it to, say, MP3?

Or is there a program that allows me to open the video and set compression for both audio and video. I tried opening the video with VDub, but I get an error everytime.

Thanks in advance.

DVD2AVI can extract audio from your Mpeg2 file.
