Sometimes when i am making an svcd i get an "illegal decimal point error" in tmpgenc.
Does anyone know like a patch or fix for this.
or am i doing something wrong.?
Thanks

I have noticed this TMPGEnc behaviour when trying to encode from divX with audio encoded with MP3. Making new AVI with PCM audio will solve this problem.

What answer do you expect?
Do you try to encode divX movie into SVCD using TMPGEnc?
Do you have audio encoded in MP3?
You ask what to do to create movie with PCM audio?
You should write what do you want.

try extracting the audio with VirtualDub, and use that as your audio source:
open the avi in VirtualDub
under audio, choose full processing mode
under file, choose save WAV
Use this WAV as the audio source when encoding in TMPG

I have tried that but when it starts encoding i get the same "illegal decimal point error" after bout ten mins of encoding in the same part of the movie.
