Hi, Y'all.
There are some things I'd like to hear some opinions about:
1.) Credits: I enter a start frame in GKnot, set the weight to 12%, and Nandub encodes the credits with 1200Kbit, although my average bitrate is 750. I didn't find it in the help files so I ask here: Do I also have to activate the 'credit-switch' in NanDub ? (I mean, enter a startframe and a bitrate)
I even tried to set the weigth in GKnot to 3%, but the credits still got >700 Kbit.
After I told Nandub to compress the credits to 300kbit, everything worked as expected
2.) 'Auto-Crop' does a good job on cropping the upper and lower parts. But with the two movies I used it, it also wanted to cut two pixel at the RIGHT, although at the LEFT side there was a 10 pixel wide black (vertical) area. (And also the aspect error was better after manually adjusting that)
3.) The help file advices not to downsample the sound to 44Khz. I did that every time and had absolutely no sync-problems. Why should there be any sync-problems ? I mean, there are a lot of videofiles around with 44khz-sound
Maybe I have been just lucky until now :) ?
