Hi!

I ripped Final Fantasy just 1 week ago and all went OK, with DVDDecrypter (and FairUse also), in 15-20mins.

Now I'm trying doing the same with Leon ("The Professional"), a 2 layer DVD.

The same two program, are predicting 3-4 hours to complete the copying from DVD to HD, and the CPU load is huge!

I'have reinstalled ASPI 4.60 Layer with ForceAspi, but nothing change.

The OS is WinXP Pro, the DVD Drive a Pioneer DVD-106.

Any advice will be appreciated, thanx!

Bye!

You sure its the programs taking up the cpu?
I cant see any reason for it.
What region is the disc?

Sorry, DMA was the problem! :)
It was a little triky beacause it's the first thing I checked, but just some minutes ago I discovered a "break-up" (!) on the IDE flat cable! :( So the drive have to be appeared as disconnected to Windows at a time, and when re-detected it reset the DMA setting.
Or so I think...

Sorry for my terrible english, and thanks for your reply!
