Hello,
I'm new in this forum.
First, sorry for my english... :)

I have a problem with DVin recording.

I have JVC GR-DVL9500E camcorder with activated DVin.

I'm using Pinnacle Studio 7 software and when I send
a video to the camcorder after a few minutes of recording
camcorder is stopping automaticly even though
AVI file is still playing.

I thought that it is a problem of dropped frames,
but I also used Scenalyzer Live Trial
which is equiped with "buffer" and problem still remains :(

Is it problem of broken camcorder?

Did you have similar problems?

Please help.

Many things could cause this.

First. What version are you using? The last Beta, or the last "Version Release"?

But since you did try it with Scenalyzer (my favorite program), and you were able to replicate the problem, you can most likely narrow it down to hardware.

Could be one or more of the following:

1. Faulty Firewire cord/connector. (do you have same problem with capture?)

2. USB Polling. Sometimes this sort of problem can be caused by a polling device driver (eg. a scanner, USB ADSL Modem, USB Mouse) stealing CPU cycles and bus bandwidth from the DV stream. Try disconnecting all usb devices.

You may also try the Pinnacle.sys Forum, you will may have much better luck there with specific possibilities since the tech often add their 2 cents.

GoodLuck.
