Hi,
One question about encoding methode describe here..
Why do i have to activate dvd-ripping?
I've already ripped the dvd with smartripper.
i don't understand this one...

Read the Q + A. SmartRipper is not recomended as it can cause problems with DVD2SVCD. Only use the supplied rippers.
Now that you have been warned. You do not "have" to activate DVD ripping if you already have them ripped.
However as if you have them already ripped it's recomended that you pipe the ripped files through the internal routines. You simply select the ripped IFO file off the HD and do it as if it's off a DVD.
Your source directory cannot be the same as the encoding directory as you can't copy files on top of each other.
If you rip with any other ripper other then what is supplied do not come complaining if it doesn't work correctly.
