2 pass DivX5 Settings in VirtualDub

I am encoding AVI stream capture video (huffyuv video compression, PCM audio)to DivX AVI with MP3 audio using the DivX5 2 pass method within VirtualDub.

Do I need to change My VDub settings between the first and second pass? In particular, If I use resize and deinterlace filters, will those operations be done twice - once on each pass? If I set audio to "full processing mode" will it be processed twice? If I use different settings for first and second pass, which one should be used to apply the video filters and which one for processing the audio? Or does it not matter because "first pass" is only gathering data about the video and not actually performing any compression on the data?

Use the same video settings for 1st and 2nd pass (except for the encoder setting, which you have to switch from "first pass" to "second pass", of course).

All filtering will be done twice. If you want to avoid this, filter to Huffyuv in a first step, then use the Huffyuv source for two-pass encoding.

Set audio to "no audio" in the first pass, and process in the second pass only (if you use e.g. the Radium codec). Better: Process audio seperately using BeSweet.
