audio issues

I have a strange audio issue in the final svcd image. It seems to be "blubbering". It`s hard to describe in words, but the timing seems to be OK as far as sync with the movie...but there is this strange stutter. I have perused much of the forum looking for similar cases and found none. I have posted in hopes that you could direct me how to research the cause of this further. This is what I know: 1) DVD2SVCD Log reports no errors. 2) The un-multiplexed video file seems to be fine, as is the video portion of the final SVCD. 3) The converted unmuxed WAV file that was created is also clear of errors.
Maybe this is a muxing problem? ...maybe a burning problem?

I did want to mention that DVD2SVCD (sans operator error :D) works great...I really like this program.
