xmpeg4.2a, can only get audio no video [Archive]

I followed the guide on doing 2-pass but could only get audio and just a black screen. If I stopped the conversion during the 1st pass, the resulting avi file has the video but no audio. If I let the 2nd pass complete, all I get is the audio. What am I doing wrong here? I am using Divx4.11a and the Radium codec.

Tried just doing the 1-pass, quality based and everything is fine, I get video and audio.

Xmpeg as well as Flask is known to be buggy.
Why don't you try Gknot instead??? Very easy if you follow Doom9's guide and gives you very good results...
