View Full Version : IFO Edit Mystery

I've already been successful doing this twice before, but now for some reason, I can't get IFO Edit to work properly.
(no doubt it's my own ineptitude)

I can import my vts file after running DVDecrypter, and everything shows up as it should, the file is around 7gigs.
When I get to the part that says, "Strip it"......it goes through a couple of seconds of processing....then says, "seems the file doesn't exist!"
After that happens......my VOB files have literally disappeared into an abyss. I have no idea where they go.....they're erased, and non-recoverable.

I'm not in front of my machine right now so I can give you an exact play by play, but I spent a great deal of time yesterday going through the step by step process, and in the end, it's the same thing. I've ripped the DVD 4 or 5 times so far and I'm finally throwing in the towel and begging you guys for help!
Thanks in advance.

Sounds like you shouldnt be 'merging' the vob files.

I'm not consiously 'merging' the files. I *thought* I was doing it the same way I always did. Can you be specific about what you mean?

I simply opened the file from the directory they were put in by "Decryptor" and after I "strip"it, they just disappear.

Sorry so dumb....I've tried everything though.

Wrong Forum dude!

It seems you didn't specify a destination directory, so your original ripped files get's overwritten.

(Next time try IfoEdit-Forum)
