Help!

I want to do the DVD2SVCD guide on doom9's site. It says I need TMPG. So once in the program, i select my TMPG EXE, and OOPS! Wrong version! I need TMPG 2.51. So I went to their site (http://www.tmpgenc.net/) and DARN, as I should have expected, they have released a few versions since the guide and the DVD2SVCD program was bundled. :mad:

I can get TMPG 2.52 from doom9's download page, I can get TMPG 2.53 from the official site, but I need TMPG 2.51. :angry:

Has anyone got the old installation file someplace on their PC or know of an old link or something? :confused:

Note: the file actually is probably still on the official site, but I can't view the directory (403: forbidden) to get the actual filename. So someone just posting the filename might help a bunch too!!

Since I couldn't get TMPG, I decided to give the demo version of CCE a try. Turns out, after processing for literally 24 hours, that the demo version of CCE adds an advertisement to the entire VCD MPEG file.

Is there a way to remove this? By the way, its in my opinion that this should be mentioned in Doom's guide, because it's very annoying.

You can get the 'full' version of CCE at........LoL. Ya right.

Theres a yahoo group that has the full version, its called DVDBACKUP.

Just keep in mind that its a no-no to use cracked software, well so is copying DVD's so go for it!!!

I put a note in each guide and the download page as well about the cce logo.

on your DVD2SVCD page @ http://www.doom9.org/mpg/dvd2svcd.htm, I cant see any reference to any logo that CCE produces. Can you tell me where it is?

And in terms of "the download page", all there was on the dvd2svcd.htm page was a direct link to the file (http://www.doom9.org/Soft21/Encoders/MPEG2/cspte250.exe), and hence I didn't visit the download page at all.
