Full Screen Playback

I have this PROBLEM??? for many days now. How do i encode (GordianKnot,Nandub), so i could watch movie full screen in WMP6.4???
I do cropping and resizing so black bars go away, but Media player
always adds them. What should i do in Gordianknot if let's say
movie is 16:9 PAL?? (if i set it to 4:3 then the movie is stretched)

stupid question:

why would you WANT to watch movies that originally have black bars at full screen without the bars? The video would be horribly stretched!

Watch your cropped videos with PowerDVD and you know what I mean...
