pre-scale decision, normalization, and drc

Do these options (pre-scale decision, normalization, and drc) have any influence on the file when i am demuxing the AC3 with dvd2avi? or are they only used when converting to mp3? If they don't make a difference, I could just use the AC3 and d2v made by SmartRipper.

Demuxing is only copying th ac3-stream out of the vobs, which could be done with smartripper, too. It wouldn´t make sense to decode an ac3-stream, nornalize it and compress to ac3 again ;-)
