loading still image (bmp or jpg)

Does anyone know of a way, maybe a plugin, that would allow me to load still pictures in Avisynth?

Only thing I can think of would be import my VirtualDub Logo filter and use it at 100% alpha blend with a "logo" file that is the size of the video. You'd have to use Avisynth Blackness() or some such to create the clip. Then apply Logo to bring in your still. Nice side effect of Logo: you can do fades.
