View Full Version : Anything like Donald Graft's Xsharp directly for Avisynth?

I am doing allot of testing on DVD material using DVD2SVCD and modifying the Avisynth file to try different filters.
So far I have liked what Donald Graft's Xsharp and to a smaller degree what 2D Cleaner by Jim Casaburi has been able to do with one problem. Because they plugin to Vdub they need to be converted to RGB in all cases this has produced less then desirable results with color and contrast. I know that this is doing it because I tried the coversion to RGB not using any filters and it showed the same color and contrast results. I am hoping that there is something as good as either of these two that does not need to be converted to RGB.
I am not a big fan of TemporalSmoother which DVD2SVCD already has the ability to use.

Any suggestions?

Anyone want me to test new filters I am up for it as long as they don't need RGB to work.

I am an Avisynth newbie so please don't fry me.

Thanks,
Mark

I am currently porting my filters to Avisynth, and will reach Xsharpen in due course.

Please test my new Hue/Sat/Bright/Cont filter described on another thread. Thank you for offering to test filters.
