can't get doom9.net or .org

Strange, i'm getting server not found message om both .net and .org

unknown host www.doom9.org.

where did that extra dot come from?

and I can see that fabulous blue and white page
maybe doom's updating his dns or something.

same problem here.. it didnt even try to resolve the dns...

a proxy worked finally to get to the page... but i still cant ping it

All is working now. Very peculiar.

somewhat in the dns zone transfers went wrong for certain ISPs.. their NS didn't get the info from the master server. I don't know who's the be blamed, zoneedit worked flawlessly so far and almost all nameservers I queried yesterday worked just fine and got all the dns changes I made yesterday and today within mere minutes
