Hi All!

I want to use the new DivX 5 to encode my DVDs. I started to read the doom9's guide. This guide is using Gordian Know to encode the videos, but in the "TheWEF's Gordian Knot: DivX Encoding Control Panel" I can use only MP3. But I want to use AC3. Is this possible with Gordian Knot, or I should use the old FlaskMpeg???

Yes, you can. The guide for DivX5 assumes mp3. When you're in step 4, in nandub, just select ac3 audio rather than mp3, and set your ac3 settings as appropriate. If you've not worked with ac3 and DivX4, search on "ac3" and "interleave" to see some of those discussion threads.

Good luck!
