Not all DVD-r's work in standalone ?

I have a very puzzling and frustrating problem.

After many 100's of hours trying I finally managed to get a DVD to DVD-R to work using DVD Decrypter, IfoEdit and Nero.

My problem now is that some movies will play fine in my standalone player but other won't (both play fine on PC). I am definately following exactly the same Ripping procedure.

Is this a function of the movie itself or am I doing something else wrong ?

Try to burn the DVD with Prassi Primo DVD, not with Nero

Try as I might I can't seem to find a site where I can download it (evena demo) or a least one that is translated to English.

A URL would be greatly appreciated.

just add my 2cents worth........i create an image using ifo-editor, then use my INSTANT CD+DVD in RAW/ISO mode, i have not had a problem yet<touch wood> plus it also plays in psx2, i think you can download a free trial of Instant CD+DVD, give it a go........the results have been great for me....plus the discs that i using are really cheap!
