I just noticed that most of 2nd CD is appx 726MB while all of my CDs are 806MB or 805MB.

I noticed most of the threads about CD sizes focuses on the 1st CD being too big or something like that.

Is there anyway to use the extra space to get better quality encode? I'm still using TMPGENC... CQ STILL ROX ^_^

Short answer: Probably not, but I'd need to see your log file to be sure.
Explanation: If you look at the bitrate tab in DVD2SVCD, you'll see you can change the number of CDs you want the movie to be on as well as the size of the CDs. The different lines correspond to different length movies, so if I remember correctly, for movies that are 100 - 125 minutes, I have it set for 3 CDs. On the far right of the tab are the ranges of bitrates that you'll get if you rip and encode a movie of the specified length. For the 100-125 line and 3 80min CDs, I think the range is something like 2300-3400. This means that the closer your movie is to 100 minutes, the higher the bitrate could be for the number of CDs you want to put it on. But since the max bitrate for SVCDs is 2530 (I think), DVD2SVCD won't encode any higher than that (max bitrate setting is the last line in that tab). So! I'm guessing the range of bitrates (far right) for the length of movie you're working on (far left) goes above 2530 on the upper end. If you were to decrement the number of CDs for that movie length range or change the CD size to a smaller value, you could probably use up the whole last CD, but the encode wouldn't be any better. Got me?

Now that I see how many posts you've got, I realize I probably explained in more detail than necessary.

I'm still using TMPGENC...
Increase the numbers in the frames pr spread and spread in the tmpg encoder tab. This will do a longer test but should calc the size a little better. Also, you might want to change the starting CQ value to 90. The size prediction test D2S uses is pretty good but can still be fooled by some movies.
