my purpose was to convert an avi to svcd using dvd2svcd. however, shit started messing up and i played around with many options and it still wouldn't work. so i used Tmmpeg by itself and created mpeg 2 from the avi. now i want to again use this mpeg in dvd2svcd because cce will produce much better quality. on top of that i used shitty settings in tmpeg. so now the problem is i need an *.ifo file that fits my mpeg-2 file. my aspect ratio is full screen (in other words i can play the movie back on a 4:3 tv w/o having any kind of black lines around it). all or any of my dvd's that i own dont support this format. if i use just any .ifo dvd2avi(the first part of dvd2svcd) doesnt work. i used this same technique before when i downloaded shrek. but i forgot what dvd's .ifo i used. so i am asking if any of you guys have an *.ifo that i can use or point me out to a site where they can be found. by the way im in region 1. i made another post about dvd2svcd messing up in avi2svcd in the basic topics. so if any of you guys can check that out i be grateful. thanks in advance for your time.
