I had searched the post and i haven't found a solution,, what i want to do is some audio cds from a lpcm concert dvd,
here's what i did
i ripped the lpcm with smart ripper (a new file each chapter) and with direct stream copy, so it did like 38 vobs with the lpcm audio, now i need to convert this to wav so i can be able to burn my two cds.. :)
so far i could't find anything to do this, i had tried, with dvd2avi i followed the intructions that were in the guide section, but it did not work, i tried too with besweet and it created a file with pure noise.. and i tried again with a program named lpcm extractor, but this program created a file up to 1Gb that i could not play.. so.. is there a program that would let me do this conversion?
i hope anyone can help me,:(

From my so far experience, I deem the best (and easiest) solution for this work would be to use Total Recorder SE from http://www.highcriteria.com Please take note that this is shareware. If you need further help with the time limitations the trial version has, contact me by e-mail.

Hi,

the PAL Buena Vista Social Club DVD also included pure LPCM soundtrack. I also tried to extract the audio with DVD2AVI but was never able to sync audio and video. I found the easiest way to go is using Graphedit for that task. Maybe you have to check out the guides on this page how exactly to do this. As far as I remember it can be done by connecting the VOB with the Ligos or MPEG2 splitter, then piping the audio stream through Intervideo Audio Decoder, from there to WAV Dest and from there to the file writer. It's a bit of a hassle for your 38 files, but you may give it a try if you don't find an easier solution.

Thank you very much for your help, i found that i can extract directly the lpcm stream to wav, with smart ripper, it was tedious, because i had to do it from one on one chapter, and i had trouble from finding the encrypted key (?)doing this,, may be a bug.. so i found another solution that can extract the lpcm from the vobs with a program called vobsnoop, it extracted also the lpcm as wav and then i only had to downsample the files and record to cd.. :)
i think the best way is with smart ripper if don't have trouble, but if you have then you can try copy the vobs to the hard drive and then use vobsnoop.. that you have to do i file at a time too,
i would be great that besure (thanks DSP guru you are my hero....) could decode the lpcm vobs to do the conversion faster.. (a suggestion only) i have find that many programs are focused to only rip the sound i one file and not in splitting them by chapters :( that maker a little slower the process to people who just want to make audio cds from music dvds..
Well thanks all again for the help.
