I know this is not a subject for this forum...so i appologize in advance

I attached two mice on my computer and it works but both mice(mouse) are using one cursor(pointer),(serial+USB optical)
the question is: how to create another pointer?????

I want to have two independant pointers for each mouse!!!!!!!!

thanks :)

are you sure......
maybe there is a driver that enables that or something

I suppose anything is possible, but I doubt that anyone has ever taken the time to write a dual-pointer mouse driver.

In fact, isn't the graphic image that is the pointer actually implemented in video hardware (an independent movable object block, like a sprite, if anyone remembers what that is). If that's the case, you'd need someone to build you a special video card too.

But the question remains - what in the world would you use two pointers for? Are you contemplating click-wars with a friend, or are you dextrous enough that you actually want to do two-fisted web browsing? ;)

or are you dextrous enough that you actually want to do two-fisted web browsing a must admit this one is a good one :)

lets get serious: i just wana play serous sam(second encounter) split screen(two players) and that is impossible without two mice becuse it is FPS

do you now get my drift

I guess that makes sense, though I have to admit I've never heard of anyone doing it.

After 10 minutes of searching via google, this is the only thing I could find - and it ain't much.

@ Kedirekin
thanks for the effort

i think this combination of mice is not possible
or maybe i reached my hardware/software knowledge limits

thanks again
