Removing .wav header manually

Hi,

Im trying to remove the wav header from an ac3 file, i cant get ac3fix to work and wondered if anyone knew how to do it manually with a hex editor.

the header size is usually 44. but here's what you should do in general :
find the string "data" in your file. let's say it starts on address 37, remove the first 37+7 bytes.
