How to create mono-ogg from mono-ac3 source? [Archive]

How do I encode an LEFT-RIGHT-mono AC3 to a mono ogg file using headac3he or ogg-machine? Do I enable only one input and output channel? I still want to be able to listen to the audio on both speakers though, like with mono-mp3s!
