I have iP4 NW 1.8@2.4 and Athlon XP 1700+@1900+.
Both PC have almost same RT. Intel has little greater RT (1.61 : 1.45-1.5). But I think, that SVCD "made by iP4" has better video than SVCD made with Athlon XP. How it is possible ? Better optimalization of routines CC* ? I thought, both must be same.

From time, what I made SVCD with iP4, my standallone player has not problems with stopping of picture too.

Come on you have been around long enough to know not to violate rule 9 of the forum rules.

Use a heading that describes the post.

Excuse me. I tried change it, but it can be changed only on top of messages.

Ok, can you remove it and write it with new subject ?

Done.
I am curious are all the setting exactly the same?
Are you using the same resize method and strength?
Are the bitrates the same?
Have you tried to encode the exact same video on both and do a direct compare?

Thanks.

All settings in DVD2SVCD are same.

Movie is not same, but is same format, bitrate, avg bitrate. diff. of lenght was 2mins. It seems better.

I'm using MIN only 10 for my Thomson.

When will be more time, I can try to make a same movie ...

Movie is not samed'oh. Some movies compress better than others. (i.e. Matrix looks exceptional on only a single CD, but Austin powers doesn't)
