I have mpg files which they are video clips.

Can i take the sound and make it mp3 or wav ?

Something like DVD2AVI and BeSweetGui.I use
these programms to take the ac3 sound of a vob
file and then convert it to wav , mp3 etc.

you can use Graphedit to pull the audio out to a wav or an MP3. Don't have it in front of me, so I'm not sure about the exact way to do it, but something like MPEG stream spliter to Wav Parser to File Writer.

Besides Graphedit you can use virtuldub to extract the audio to wav.
Goto audio>click full processing mode and then file>save wav

Also with graphEdit you can just extact the audio stream and then process it with Besweet.

virtualdub doesn't work with mpeg2 files. Graphedit to complicated. Any other soft easy to use?

Use DVD2AVI to demux the audio, that will give you a MPA file that you can convert with BeSweet to whatever you want.
