The following message comes after ripping is completed:

"Access violation at address 00403F80 in module ´DVD2SVCD.exe´. Read of address EA00C003."

I succesfully made svcd from the first half of the movie (same settings). But when I tried to make the last chapters then error message comes to screen.

I have not checked the ripped files or dvd, but mayde there could be something wrong? Do you have any idea what could cause this?

here´s log file:

Usually this indicates that DVD2SVCD could not read the DVD.

Sometimes when I get this error, I simply start again from the beginning and it will work. If I get the error a second time, I try VStrip. If that doesn't work, I rip the DVD with Smartripper and then pipe those VOBS through the internal ripping routines to avoid any sync problems.

Good Luck

If you do use SmartRipper try and find an older release (2.39 or before). The problems with DVD2SVCD and SmartRipper seemed to appear after this.

Is there a way to check that ripped files are ok?

Play them in a software player like WinDVD. If they play completely through, without any problems, then they are OK.
