Hi there!
as I posted in the subject, I'm trying to figure out how to change the detection method of windows XP so that it recognizes .ogm files on a CD as Video files so that it brings up the autoplay menu. I found an interesting Registry Entry under
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\AutoPlayHandlers\ContentTypeSniffers\
it's called "VideoFilesContentSniffer". But when I add *.ogm to the Pattern it still does not show up like it does with .avi files... Hm, does anyone know what I mean and can help me?
I like this option far more than using a autorun.inf on every CD, because I made a little VideoPlayHandler for myself which then starts all the tools I need for playing a video, and using a static autorun.inf on a CD-rom could be outdated after some time..
