Permanent Subtitles

how can I mux permanent subtitles in MPEG-2 file ?

i tried I-Autor, but it crashes.

how does DVD2SVCD do it ?

Just select permanent subtitles under the subtitles tab.

I KNOW that DVD2SVCD can do it. I'm not that lame :)

but - before encoding all over again, can someone tell me how can I put permanent subtitles in MPEG-2 file ?

no I-Autor and no DVD2SVCD because i already encoded the video without subs.

AFAIK the only way to put permanent subtitles in MPEG-2 file is to re-encode the video.
