Hi everybody
First of all, I was trying to do a motion menu with animated thumbnails. I used to do that with Tscv, but for some reason it doesn't work anymore. I mean the player in tscv won't show a thing. So, I found out about this site,(http://www.geocities.com/diarav2002/vcd/vcd_menu_guide.html) where there's a guide showing how to do that with avisynth and virtual dub.
Well, I did everything I was supposed to do, but becouse I don't know nothing about scripts (the command line programs "frighten" me), I wanted to learn. I found another site to do just that, but I got stuck right in the beginning becouse my media player won't open the "version" file I created. Anyway, I managed to open my movie in v.dub with the script file created by dvd2svcd when I encoded the movie, and I did my thumbsnails.(another mistake here, I did them umcompressed so each of the 6 files is 200Mb). Now, I don't know what I did next. I was trying, and trying and trying again to do a script that would work, and right now I'm completely lost, unable to even delete or move my thumbnails or my movie.
So please, do you guys think you can lend me a hand? help me somehow? Please, I would very much appreciate that.
Thank you.

I've done some of this (for DVD/Scenarist output), so if you post your script(s), I or someone else could take a shot at it.

I don't have anything anymore. I got rid of everything. But right now, is not that I'm worried about, but the fact that I can't do enything with my files. When I try to delete them, I get this message that the files are used by another program, and I don't know what it is talking about.

How do these programs work anyway? because I can't see enything running. I was thinking you are supposed to load them into another program. The guide I was talking about said you have to load the script into v.dub, which would actually paste the thumbnails to another file, a template made with paintshop and encoded into a still menu.
I did lots of these scripts, try to open them in v.dub, but nothing worked. Is like they are all running inside the computer somewhere and I can't see them. I want to get rid of those thumbnails because they are way too big, and I can't delete them.
Same thing with v.dub. I want to uninstall the handler, and it won't let me saying it is used.
I'm in big trouble.

Just reboot your computer and the open apps will die, allowing you to delete your files.
