the output format is .mpv as you know.

how can i turn it to format which can be open with every MPEG-2 player ?

If I want to use power DVD to view a video only .mpv I just rename it to .mpg. Mplayer should open it, after complaining, without a rename.

I encoded the Matrix following the "hot to get to most out of CCE" guide.

now i have to mux audio (mp3 or mp2) and subtitles.

can you recomend me a specific guide how to do that ?

I use TMPGEnc .. just go to mpeg tools under the file menu, and simple muliplex .. from there it is straightforward
