Newbie at DVD2SVCD.. encoding problems

I am having the problem of encoding. I am using TMPGEnc and when it runs I get a warning saying "not enough memory" I am running 512 RAM and windows XP. I would hope this is enough memory. I am new to PC's so I really don't have a clue. I have noticed that if I encode less then 5 min., it works. Any help would be greatful. thanks

Well it sounds like you may be running out of virtual memory. Have you changed any settings to do with VM? Have you used a tweaker and changed settings to not use VM?

Well I'm not sure if I changed it or not. I believe I set it on " let computer a lot memory to programs" or something like that. Like I said I am very new to PC's. Should I turn off VM or set the parameter myself?? Thanks

What do you suggest I do then?? I have never had problems running programs with 512 Ram on my Mac. What should I change or not change my settings to? thanks
