I get the following message more and more frequently, but not every time and sometimes on my third attempt i can encode the dvd, but on the last one the rugrats movie i have not been able to get past 50%..

CCE Encoding failed:error
Video check-sum is different from that of previous pass.
Source video data or time code may be different.
Please check video tape or the information file

You really should try and read the forum before you post.
Especially a question as commonly asked as that.

Did you read the Newbie FAQ or the Q + A.

I suspect not since the answer is in there.
