it's because you are using a cracked version of Divx5pro.
Use the Gain version and all will work properly.

What is the gain-version? Sorry, my english sucks.
Any limitations to it...?

The Gain version is the ad supported version. it should be the same as the $30 pro version, but installs a program that displays ads. These are easily removed, however, check the sticky.

i had the same results (ad version), when encoding 1st pass with all the mpeg4 "extras" but 2nd pass without GMC ;)

Looks like Psychovisual modeling option effect. I had the same effect with that option on. But it could also be the version your using like stated in above posts

I use those options and it works fine:

GMC, Bidirectinal encoding and Pre processing source (light)

@SirTomahawk

GMC = Global Motion Compensation

The 2nd mpeg4 tool as you can see it at the codec configuration panel. I mean, if i do de 1st pass with 3 mpeg4 tools enabled (QP, GMC and B-frames) and then, for the 2nd pass, i disable GMC, i get the same results as you.

it's because you are using a cracked version of Divx5pro.No, the errors are different then, looks more like a "solarizing" filter had been applied.

Looks like Psychovisual modeling option effect. I had the same effect with that option on.Yes, me too!

@the Real
Solarisation? And how it comes in a single compress job? :)
Believe me..., it test the gain version and it was away.

Thank you guys, T.

SirTomahawk,
it's just that I experienced errors that were almost the same as in your picture (the weird blocks) and it was most probably the fault of the psychovisual settings because I used the original adware version from divx.com
(I posted it here with example-jpegs: http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?threadid=19151&highlight=shitframes )

Then, other people had errors with the hacked version that reminded me of a solarisation effect, namely the one in Microsoft Photo Editor. This effect outlines objects and totally changes the colors of the whole picture, but there appear no blocks.
