Some file at 15 gig !! What screen duration is it? I'm wondering how it is going to fit on a DVD at any reasonable compression anyway?

The 15 gig file is an uncompressed AVI encoded using a DV Codec. I used the CCE Adobe premiere plugin to process the file using multipass VBR. This brought it down to just under 3 gig. It took next to no time on a Compaq DL580 server configured with 4 1 Gig Xeon processors.
