Hi...I tried using the image creation process on dvd decrypter.
It makes makes the image ok but when I try to burn the image back to dvd-rw it gives me an aspi command error...?
I have an aspi layer installed (xp)cause cdrwin and audiocatalyst etc work fine.
Any help appreciated...
Thanks

It would really help if you told me which version you are using, and EXACTLY what the ASPI error is - I need to know the CDB and SenseArea bits in particular.
BTW, you cant do anything in DVD Decrypter without an ASPI layer, so it must be fine...its either a bug, or ur just using an old version.
only 3.0.0.13 can write DVDs. I dont have a DVD-R so testing it properly is a little difficult!

I was using an older version...got the new version and it works. Excellent program!...thanks LIGHTNING UK!
Perfect dvd5 duplicate on A03 and on my stand alone player.
If you get a min could you take a look at my previous post...
I can't understand why I couldn't get it to work on the stand alone using smartripper?...I didn't try using a dvdr(didn't want to gamble it).
Is it just cause I used a dvd-rw...?
Would it have turned out ok if I used a dvdr?
Thanks.

I hear lots of players have troubles with DVD-RW discs; they think they're double-layer discs and try to read them that way. If the manufacturer makes a firmware upgrade, the problem can be corrected. Also, keep in mind that some brands of DVD-R/RW will work better than others for standalone players.
