Try using the internal ripping routines included with D2S instead of smart ripper.

Sorry Markrb but you have lost me, so what chance does David78 have?
"no log file & two exclamation marks is all I can see wrong"
perhaps a little more Info may be in order.:)

@Slick here is what I was actually trying to point out. I was not trying to give an answer as time didn't permit. I was only doing Mod duty.

@david78
From the Q + A.
Q48: I have been having sync and other problems with VOB files I have ripped with another ripper, like SmartRipper?
A: Always use the internal routines or the built in Vstrip unless you have no other choice. SmartRipper and other rippers are known to cause issues occasionally with DVD2SVCD.
Other rippers are not recomended as they cause problems. In many cases the only option is to rip the video again with either the Internal Routines or the included Vstrip.
Only use the internal routines to rip. Try again using the appropriate ripper. If you have problems after ripping again post your DVD2SVCD_log.txt file.

@Markrb
fair enough.
but in my previous post I had already suggested he use the internal ripping.
all you had to do was concurr & then point him towards the sticky. with a brief idea of what to look for.
sorry if I appear to be having a go at you but I'm not.
I realise you get lots of requests for help that can answered in the Q&As
and what you do is appretiated by a lot of poeple. myself included.
"but" i think I would get pretty pissed off as a newbie if I got an answer like "READ THIS" and a link without explanation.
especially from a Mod.

Slick I see your point. I was in a hurry and don't usually do that.
@david78 if this happens after you have re-ripped the files with the recomended rippers play the VOB files in a Software DVD player like WinDVD to make sure the whole movie was ripped.
Look to see how many Muxed_bbmpeg_0?.mpg files were made and if this matches the number of cue files made.
