Hi,

I read your TSCV guide on www.doom9.org

(1) In that guide you mentioned how to create Motion Menus. I had a small question in that but regarding STILL MENUS.

As you made your motion menus by using the MENUGEN button, I understand we can also make a still menu using MENUGEN by putting the umber of frames=1. But if say I have 5 chapter selections in my main menu and want to have thumbnail windows for these selections, then how can I get these thumnails directly poiting to the relevant chapter. In a motion menu, it plays the 400 frames for that chapter but say in the still menu I want the 1st frame or maybe the 29th frame of that chapter to appear in the window for that selection, then how do I select that frame/scene.....

I know this can be done by capturing the bitmaps while playing the movie with say PowerDVD but I think there should be a setting to put the desired thumbnail (without making a separate file for it first) in the windows in the MENU.

2) Also, about the motion menus, if I select 400 frames, does it also play the audio or just the video in the window in the MENU.

you could try the motion menu generator and set the number of frames to 1.. maybe that would generate the desired still menu.. if that doesn't work I'm afraid you're going to have to do it the hard way

2) audio and video should loop
