What does this mean, why does it come up and abort the encoding and what the hell can I do about it? Tried to encode a Divx AVI-file when this message suddenly appears. Any suggestions?

I had the same problem with Gladiator. The only way round it was to use source range to grab the part before and after the bad frames. For me it was only one instance of a couple of frames so there was no visual differance.

I have asked this question several times and have not had it since ver 12a so I thought it was fixed.

If you find out remember to post it.

Yes, it just means there is something wrong with a few frames of you AVI. You can get around it by cropping before and after the bad bit with VirtualDub, saving the good bits, and joining them (minus the bad bit). Then do the encode. Or, if the bad bit happens to be near the middle of the film you can just use it as your break point in Source Range of TMPGEnc.
